Geemarc Alert to A Ringing Telephone - Amplicall 10

 

AMPLICALL 10 – TELEPHONE RING INDICATOR
 
Installation – Please refer to the diagram on P2 of the user guide
 
When opening the box you will find:
 
  • 1 x Amplicall 10 unit
  • 1 x table mounting unit,
  • 4 x AA Batteries
  • 1 x double ended RJ11 cord
  • 1 x telephone line cord
  • 2 x screws and raw plugs (supplied in case you wish to mount the Amplicall 10 unit to the wall)
 
There are also two items shown on the diagram in the user guide which are not included, but are optional extras. They are an AC adaptor and a vibrating shaker, which can be supplied separately if required.
 
To connect the Amplicall 10:
 
  • Place the main unit on the table
  • Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit. 
  • Insert the four AA batteries supplied, ensuring the batteries are inserted as per the “+” and “-“ etchings in the battery compartment.  
  • Once the batteries have been inserted close the battery compartment.
 
The telephone line cord and the RJ11 cords can now be inserted into the unit.
 
  • Connect the white BT connection in to the telephone socket on your wall.
  • Connect the clear RJ11 connector into the back of the Amplicall 10 in to either of the sockets marked with the telephone icon.
  
·         Connect one end of the lead which has a clear RJ11 connection on each end into the remaining socket on the Amplicall 10 (with the telephone icon).
·         Connect the other clear RJ11 connection into the back of your telephone.
 
 
The sockets on the left side of the Amplicall 10 are for the shaker (optional extra) and a mains adaptor (optional extra).
  
The Amplicall 10 can be used on the base provided, or it can be wall mounted with the screws provided.
 
To connect to the base:
 
  • Place the Amplicall 10 unit on the base, so that the shorter supports on the base are to the front of the Amplicall 10 and the longer supports to the rear.
  • Gently push down on the Amplicall 10, so the unit clicks into place on the base unit.
 
To operate
 
There are three green buttons on the top of the unit:
 
  • At the top on the right hand side is the volume control. The slide switch can be set to your preferred volume or set to “off”.
  • Below the volume control is the tone control and melody option button, which has 3 setting options.
  • On the top left hand side is the alarm mode switch, please refer to P4 of the user guide.
